Takin’ the Mic returned to the Irish Writers Centre, Parnell Square, on Friday 28 February 2020, and I had the pleasure of reading one of my short stories on the night. Full details of this event can be found on the Irish Writers Centre website.

The Irish Writers Centre’s Takin’ the Mic returned to the Red Line Book Festival on Friday, 11 October 2019, and I had both the pleasure and privilege of reading my short story, A Lesson in Grief, at it.

2 OCTOBER 2019

Native Harrow came to Dublin on Wednesday, 2 October 2019 and I was delighted to open the night. All event details can be found here.

8 MAY 2019

I had the privilege of being the featured musician at the Staccato Literary Salon in Toners Pub, Baggot Street, Dublin on Wednesday, 8 May 2019. I performed a selection of my songs in between readings from Sarah Davis-Goff, Susan Lindsay, Rachael Hegarty, Darren Darker, and Philip St John. The night was hosted by writers David Butler and Tanya Farrelly, and admission was free.

15 FEBRUARY 2019

Blue Sun frontman Brew Mbirika headlined this one-off event on Friday, 15 February 2019, at which he shared the stories behind his music alongside live performances of his songs. I was excited to provide support on this special night alongside Kevin Casey. All proceeds/donations were in aid of the National Council for the Blind Ireland (NCBI)
The gig took place in the gorgeous Vintage Room, upstairs in The Workmans Club.
Tickets were €5 for a great cause.
